Security

Parents should periodically review and update PowerSchool information as to who is authorized to pick up their student(s).

  • All visitors to Thunder Ridge must enter through the south (main) entrance by the flagpole. Upon arrival, all visitors must present a picture ID at the Security Office. Visitors are scanned through a networked national database and then issued a visitor badge to wear for the duration of the visit. At the end of their visit, all visitors must sign out at the Security Office. You may contact security at 720-886-1558.
  • If a child is going to be taken out of school, an authorized person must come into security to complete the checkout form and present identification, unless other arrangements are made through the main office. Students will not be called to security before they are checked out.
  • Student Item Drop Off: Items may be dropped off at the security desk vestibule area.  All items can be left in the bookshelf. Additionally, please write down child/ren information on the dry erase board on the wall.  Please note: If any visitor is going to physically meet student, they must be listed on the student’s PowerSchool as an authorized contact.

School Drop-Off/Pick-Up and School Parking:
All parking and student drop-off should be done in designated drop-off areas or in parking lots.  Bus lanes/fire lanes are for buses only.  Please do not drop-off or pick-up your students in upper and lower school bus/fire lanes, which are marked with "Do Not Enter" signs.

Upper lot will be closed for parking from 3:30-4:00 PM.  This will allow our SPED buses to exit our lot in a timely manner. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Uber Eats/DoorDash
Parents are allowed to bring students food and drop it off or meet students, if that person that is dropping off the food is on the students authorized contact list. However, students are NOT allowed to receive food from any type of food delivery services (Uber Eats/DoorDash) even if parents order it for their students.
