Optional At Home Summer Math and Reading Work
This year, we have made available Summer Math Packets. These completely optional packets allow your child to review skills covered in previous math classes and keep those skills fresh over the summer. Answers are available as a separate file and are provided so that students can check their work when they finish. These packets are designed with the intent of completing one concept per week for 10 weeks. Please, no calculators for these packets. Students should have enough room to show their work. During the first week or so back, teachers will offer a small prize for students who have completed the packet. Links to course-specific packets are here:

In addition, we recommend that your child read at least 30 minutes per day. A great place to look for a good book list is our March Madness Reading Challenge from this past year. These are books that have been enjoyed by many of our students. We also have a sneak peak of the first 4 books for the 26-27 March Madness Challenge. Another option is to participate in our Summer Book Yahtzee game. Score points over the summer and bring the score card to the library in August to earn prizes. Happy reading! Thank you for your help in reinforcing math and reading skills to ensure a solid start to the year!
