Welcome new families to Thunder Ridge Middle School!
Can you believe it is time to register for classes for the 2026-27 school year? Beginning January 30th and ending February 13th, current 5th graders have the opportunity to select elective classes that they are interested in for the 2026-27 school year. We do our best to accommodate all requests. Elective placements depend on class availability. Once the quarter begins, classes cannot be changed. Students will be receiving information in their 5th grade classrooms to bring home from TRMS counselors to share with you as well. Counselors will be at our elementary feeder schools on the below dates. We also would like to invite you to our Thunder Ridge Welcome Night to learn more about Thunder Ridge on Wednesday, February 4th 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 - Timberline
Thursday, Jan 29, 2026 - Antelope Ridge & Peakview
Friday, Jan. 30, 2026 - Canyon Creek
Please spend some time talking to your child about elective classes they are passionate about, interested in, or align with their future goals. This information will help them make an informed decision about their elective choices. If you have any questions, please reach out to Luis Dominguez-Paris at ldominguezparis@cherrycreekschools.org, the 6th grade counselor for the 2026-2027 school year.
February 4th : Thunder Ridge Welcome Night at Thunder Ridge Middle School
Current 5th graders and their families are invited to meet teachers and get a chance to tour the TRMS building. Come join us from 5:00pm-7:00pm on February 4th!
January 30th: Registration opens in PowerSchool
- Families register for elective classes from home using PowerSchool
- Changes can be made any time between Jan 30 - Feb 13th.
February 13th: Registration closes in PowerSchool, no later than 10:00 P.M.
- No more changes can be made after Feb. 13th
